Welcome to the end of summer SSL quiz!

A few people have been saying it is getting dull around here, but dont forget, that is possibly because everyone has had a long summer holidays, and have had far to much spair time.. This means that users posts have been spread out throughout the day and night, rather than just 4pm-10pm sort of time, (when the day has finished at college/school etc), However, lets not worry about that just yet.

I am hosting a big SSL Quiz! Anybody is allowed to take part, and you can join in at any stage of the quiz, however this obviously means, if you dont play from the start, you wont be able to get as many points!

The quiz will be done in teams, each team is allowed either 2 or 3 people in it, when you have decided on your team, one person from that team must PM me to let me know, so I can work the scores out at the end.
If you would rather not play in a team, you can play as an individual.. there will be prizes for the best team score, and the best individual score, so its not a problem if you want to play solo

The quiz will be on Saturday 30th August at 7pm. Hopefully this time is good for everyone.

The prizes will be quite good as well, these will be:

For the team prizes:
1st place = 2000 Tokens to each member in that team.
2nd Place = 1000 Tokens to each member in that team.

If you are playing on your own, the best individual scorer will win a 2000 Token prize.

There will be a range of different categories, which may include the following: TV/Films, Maths, General knowledge, Swapitshop, Famous people, etc etc, (the list will be written in the quiz topic, before the quiz starts on saturday, so you know what there will be!)

I am hoping for there to be a minimum of 50 fun questions, maybe more! Maybe even up to 100! I will pre-write the questions, so the quiz will run smoothly and quickly without delays, and I can just copy them over. There will be 5 Minute intervals throughout the quiz

Hopefully this is something to look forward to, and hope to see you all there on saturday! Feel free to comment in this topic, and also post here if you will be able to take part!

Just to confirm the points will be allocated as such:

1 Point to the first correct answer.

For teams, it doesnt matter which one of the team members gets the first correct answer, only 1 point will be given to that team. The points will be added up at the end for each team, and the team with the most points wins.

For individual players, the user who scores the most points by submitting the correct answer first, will win the prize.

It will be individually played

The user who scores the most points will be the winner, etc.

1 point for being the first person to submit the correct answer to the question, thats how the point system will work

I am really looking forward to the quiz, I think it's a great idea.

Hopefully lots of people will play & I'm sure it will be a big hit.

I decided against team games, because its more hassle to organise, and some people might just want to wait until the last minute to decide if there going to be online and play etc..

Thanks for the token offer, however Joey's already said he will fund the 1st prize of 2000 tokens, and I was going to put the 1000 token 2nd prize, and the 50 tokens for every player who participates, out of my own tokens
