im into any music like cycy i suppose, but i love my indie rock like da kooks i love da kooks=)

I like all types of music.
However, my favorite would have to be Heavy Metal. (Iron Maiden, MSG, Metallica, Motorhead, etc)

People class rock bands as the likes of Oasis, Kaiser chiefs, etc, when they are not "rock".
Indie rock perhaps, or to be perfectly honest, they come under "pop" for poular music.
For Rock, you look at the late 70's and 80's, when you had Bon Jovi (in his prime) Bonnie Tyler, Styx, Rainbow etc.
In the 90's you had Guns n Roses.
