well the thing is. I like this boy in my school but he is in the year below me. I think he likes me too. But the thing is I told my friend and she said it was bad and she started saying that she was in his primary and that he's realy wierd and all horrible things. I really like him, he likes the same things I do. He's got an amazing voise, and he has a love for musicals, like me. What should I do. My friends keep telling me to leave go, but I can't. Sometimes he wonders alone on his own and I feel so sorry for him because he's great.
Please help.
Thanks

thanks.
I really like him and it's the weekend so I wont see him for 2 full days. I admit he is a bit strange but that's one of the things that makes him. I am too scared to go up to him. But in a fiew weeks we are going on a school trip and he and I are going. I'm going to talk to him. He's great and I think people judge him too quick. i liked him the first time I saw him and spoke to him. I just hope he feels the same way too.
Thanks

Thanks.
I have this friend in the same year as him so I'll ask her to get his number for me. I'm really good friends with her. She is going to ask him what type of girl does he like. I'm scared though. Is it ok for a girl to like someone younger than her?
Thanks

Thank you. Also thanks everyone for being so suportive. When I go on that trip. I'm going to talk to him more and stuff.
Also now my friends aren't talking to me just because we were outside and I said atleast I don't like and the name of the person she fancies. I didn't say it loud and even if I did there was no-one around. I was just sick of her talking about the person I fancy in a bad way.
Thanks.

well it's going ok. He walked past me in school today and said hi and kind ok lifted his hand. So I did the same thing. Then I found out he was in the classroom next door to me. He stood nearly right next to me. Then when I had to go in the classroom me and him looked each other straight in the eye until we couldn't see each other anymore. I really like him. I've never met anyone so kind and thoughtfull. He's in set one or two for everything like me. The first time we ever spoke to eachother was when I heard him singing sweeney todd and I asked him if he'd seen it. Then after our drama group when it wa time to go home, I saw him rushing to catchup with me. I know it's silly but when I don't see him for a while I start to really miss him. So I decided to make him a decourated sweeney todd led torch which a friend would give to him for me. He will then know it's me and know how I feel about him because that was the first thing we ever spoke about. I like him so, so, so, so much but because i'm in a higher year than him perhaps he thinks i'm not interested.
thanks
please keep your help and advise coming

I'm glad to hear that you are going for this even though your friend thinks he's weird. To be honest, there's always someone in every school, if not more than one person, who most people see as weird and I think it's stupid because often it is just because they don't act exactly the same as everyone else or are in higher classes etc. or a combination of these things.
I think that your friend disapproves because she is one of the ones who likes to be popular no matter what, not trying to cause any offence with that comment but my sister is like that as well and she's always telling me how so and so is a right weirdo and when we're out somewhere she'll point out the people with hairstyles she doesn't like or people wearing clothes she doesn't like and she just judges them for what they are on the outside. I think your friend may be like that, even if she doesn't do it as much as my sister.
Good luck to both you and this boy! _________________ StacFace

It sounds as though he likes you too, you should definately let him know you like him. If you sort it all out before the end of term you can meet up in the holidays and stuff without your friends being there making comments.

I don't think there is any shame in that, there are people in my school who do things like that all the time, it sounds like your friend is being female dog because she likes him, just do what YOU want, not your friends

StacFace-thanks. Also my friend is a bit popular. She also keeps asking me "Why Him". I just keep saying even if he is wierd I like him just the way he is. Thanks
Fizzy-He might like me a bit but he's probably scared that I wouldn't like him. But I am going to tell him how I feel. I'm going to London soon and so is he so it's a great time to get closer to him. I will then try to pluck up some corrage to ask him to go to town with me and my friennd and his friend in the same year for the first time because my friend fancies his friend and his friend fancies my friend then I will ask him to go just us two. Thanks fizzy.
Pauloud-Thanks. I now don't care if anyone makes fun of us. I've decieded to do what I want to do like you said. Thanks.
Thanks everyone
