I bought this Xbox Live Gold 12 months from this person. I open it and it's security sealed,nothing wrong. But when I actually came to put the code in it didn't work! It's not because I've got the code wrong because I've put it in at least 20 times, and I haven't done it wrong because I followed the instructions on the card. So what do you think happened?

To start with, are you getting an Error Code 801613fb, or is it stating that the code is invalid?
Also, is the code 25 letters/numbers long?
Also, are you on Xbox, or Xbox 360?
It seems that there are a few problems with these activations. One way around it is to open another XBL account. This seems to have worked for others in the past.
The only other option is to contact XBL either by email:

Or by phone:
International (direct dial to U.S.): 425-635-7180

Hi,
Look At The Code Properly.. Sometimes You Get The Codes Wrong Because You Think A Letter Looks Like A Different One Etc..
It Should Work, By The Way It Won't Work If Its Not From The United Kingdom Or United States.

Well I've definitely got the code right as I've even got my Mum to read it and enter it herself and it's still not working. It says the code is invalid by the way. I might contact Xbox Live as soon as i've had an e-mail back from SS.
