Create a forum, that promotes your business. Building a community, within which you will have links posted to your own and other web sites. Create a forum with no intention of building a community, simply to fill it with link spam to your own or other web sites
Post links to media available on youtube.com or other legitimate services where media is publically available and policed for copyright and other violations by those services. Promote warez.
Post links to copyright material on file sharing or other services that are not regarded as reputable public operations that take full responsibility for material on their servers.
You can be "attacked" by guests or members posting material that contravenes our terms and condtions. But you must delete such posts in a timely manner and deal with any member deemed responsible. Ignore your responsiblity to keep your forum operating within the terms and conditions.
Discuss controversial political issues. Run a "hate" site. Racism, Homophobia, Religious hate, will not be tolerated. We include "self hate" in this definition. Which means for example whilst a site that believes in the legalisation of recreational drugs would be tolerated for the sake of free speech, a site that encourages anorexia which is self harm and therefore self hatred would not be allowed.
Occasionally mass email your members. You may not spam members with frequent emails, or otherwise promote your forum via mass spam emailing, or any other form of spamming.
Run coupon swapping schemes, promote business ideas and franchises. You may not run anything resembling a pyramid scheme, timeshare scam etc. If money is changing hands, the ethics must be convincing!
Discuss addons for online computer games. Run a site where the aim is not to improve everyones enjoyment of the game, but to cheat and thus ruin the game for legitimate players. e.g. an add on that provides a short cut key to get to a weapon would almost certainly be okay, a "speed hack" is simply lame cheating and is not okay.
Freely advertise other sites.
Accept paid advertising without the approval of ourselves, as paid advertising is likely to conflict with the advertising that supports the forum.
If our terms and conditions are broken, we reserve the right to remove/suspend forums without warning or discussion. But we will only do this if we believe reasonable discussion would be pointless.
As forum owner you have full legal responsibily for the content of your forum. We are simply acting as host.
