but you didnt say it didn't work- how would you feel if every swap you bought that didnt have the words 'faulty' or 'broken' or anything similar on it came to you not working?

You have to state in the auction that it is faulty or broken.
The winner can get their swapits back by contacting swapitshop and you will get a minus rating (or banned, depending on how bad and how many times it was)
