2 people liking the same person..what should i do if me nd 1 of my mates likes the same person? 
and since he only knows her through me and known her for 3 days its a bit unfair to be honest.

No offence to your mste but surely if he has only known her 3 days you will prbs have a better chance than him anyway. 
If not jsut tell him you liked her before or whatever and he wouldn't of even known her without you. As hrissie says just tell him how you feel about the situation.

well i wouldnt say to a girl face to face who do you like more me or my best mate as i would feel like a dumb bum and its embarrising she might say she dont like you and that is way wrong if anything get a mate (not him)to ask her out for u or do it through msn or ask her if she fancies him if not go for it
