50cc scooter

Well, im now 16 (have been for some time) and im legal to ride a 50cc moped

yet when i 1st thought about it, i thought it was pointless as the petrol would cost a fortune, yet after seeing one of my best mates on one, and then he said how much it costs to run, i really want 1 =/ and ive just gone up and down my road on his. its awesome!!!

My mum was gona buy me a bus card for £300-£400
Yet surley i can get a scooter for that?

I would then get £10 a week from EMA (hopefully) and considering i only have to go into town (7 miles ish) 3 times a week for college, i think its worth it

The bus pass would be usefull.. yet it cant take me to where loads of my best friends live as they live deep into the country side.

Soz if ive just blaberd on for to long, i just need help

so if anyone knows roughly how much insurance will be, or any places cheap scooters are, it will be much apreciated!!!

should so get ... as soon as im 16 am gettin one

would recomend in paying more than £400 for one

bout £600 should get you a decent one that wont break down

not too sure on insurance though

hmm, its more of the money factor =/ ill only have it for a year really as i don't wana pay for lots of insurance. i cud then sell it then pay for insurance on parents car

get secondhand (even if its ugly, PIMP IT) then its cheaper

its lush, a tad bit scary but thts only cs i didnt wanna wreck it, like 1 tiny mistake cud cost my mate £200 =/ haha, or if i ride it into a car loads!!! lmao.

but fun, the acceleration is fun as im used to riding a push bike

im getting a peel p50 hopefully, then i can drive it around fields looking stupid

then i find it costs £25000

yeh, i asked my mate, all you have to do is stay on your motorbike, and obey the laws of this country

They've never appealed to me. They made such a racket when you hear one going along, plus they're slow - I was on the bus once and we were stuck behind one of them for ages lol.

Just let your mum pay for the bus pass, and save up for a car/insurance on your parents car when you're old enough to drive.
