ArsenalAre Arsenal a proper English Club? I don't think so as there average was 0.3 English player(s) in the first eleven in the season of 07/08!

Simply because: English players are not good enough.
The good Englsih players: These are all taken up already, such as lampard and gerrard.
We have got some upcomign though, such as Walcott who will be a regular next season.

Great he is an awesome player speedy, got a great foot on him, his finishing's emmense but I think Arsenal should grab up some more Brits though

Well fifa might introduced a new 6+5 rule. This means there will have to be atleast 6 homegrown players in a starting line up. If this happens, arsenal WON'T cope. 
The rule IS probably gonna happen so wenger better start buying some English players...

I think this rule will change the premiership and they might have to get more english players this summer, and then sell some forign players.

Not manchester united! We have Scholes, Brown, Neville, Carrick, hargreaves and Rooney. That's 6.
We also have several youth players that can play in the premiership like Danny simpson, chris Eagles, Jhon Evans and more. So we should be fine.

we would still have ace players on the team
+ the rule wont happen until 2012 ....
plenty of tiem to get our young talent ready
by that time most your English players will be retired ...

Arsenal have a okay youth development system. i say the top three are probably Man city, Liverpool and us!(man utd) So if all the current english players retire in 2012 then these three clubs will be in the driving seat for the top...

we have produced the likes of THierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas etc

Well we've won the most F.A. youth cup trophies along with Liverpool. I don't know how much Arsenal have won it but i probably would if they had one lots.
Anyway you were saying you have produced Fabregas and Henry, well there not English. I was talking about the best youth development for English players. So wich team would be succesful with the new rule  Not arsenal.
Name 2 English player that has come through the Arsenal ranks who have made premiership appearences( theo Walcott did'nt. He played for Southhampton first)
I'll name two for Manchester united...Chris Eagles and Danny Simpson. I could name more but i'll take up the whole page...

Exactly. And Bradley, i'm not debating that wetehr or not English players are crap i'm telling you that Arsenal will suffer the most more than anyone if the rule took place.
And where do Good English players come from? A good ENGLISH youth development system, which Arsenal don't have...
