Well, our school is "Clever" and we are doing our options early. This also means that we will be doing our Maths, English and Science GCSE exams in year 10.
I am in year 9, and have already taken them. I Chose:
*Music
*ICT
*French
*Geography
*Media Studies (After school)
I'm hoping to be a dentist in the future

It depends what pathway you want to do.
I want to do pathway one and you HAVE to do:
English
Maths
Science
Spanish
Citizenship
Double science
then you get to choose 2 subjects.
I want to definately do music- but not sure about the other one. I want to do art- but it won't really get me anywhere. So I'm thinking about media studies, but my brother does that and he gets tons of coursework

In our school there is no such thing as "Pathways"
Our compulsary subjects are:
- English
- Maths
- Science
- ICT
- P.S.H.E (P.L)
- PE (Basic)
Edit: We have 4 options to choose from after the compulsary
Anyways, if you need help with choosing your options, then talk to your parents
They helped me... Parents seem to know it all
Thanks,

Haha, my parent's knew nothing about what GCSE's I should take. Although, I didn't even need to ask them - I always knew I would do the largest amount of Science possible, Spanish, History and Geography. And I got to do Further Maths as well, but it's so easy.
Of course, I had to do the compulsory ones too: English Literature (sat in 2007; 98% - highest in the year), English Language, Maths, PASE (Personal and social education) Short-course Welsh, and PE...
Just choose whatever you enjoy - you're likely to do better in subjects that interest you

For mine we had to do these as compulsory subjects:
Maths
English Language
English Literature
Science: Double
RE: Short Course
ICT: Short Course
We were then allowed to choose a language, a humanity, a technology and a 'free choice'. I chose:
French
Geography
Graphics
Latin
At the time I didn't know what career I wanted so I just chose what I felt most comfortable with doing.

I'm thinking about becoming an architect now, so I'm going to do art
Our head of art is so- trampy. He has the same dirt on his face, same clothes since i came to the school
But apparently he is one of the finest abstract artists in the UK. I searched for him on youtube and there was this documentary about him on youtube.
He cusses people mums =/ And I really don't like him... I hope I don't get him for my GCSEs.
