computer RAM helpI have a rubbish amount of RAM in my computer (512mb) and i want to upgrade, i have 2 ports, so i can add another 512mb RAM, i was just wondering, what would happen if i added two 1Gb RAM's, as many websites say that my computer's memory is only expandable to 1Gb via 2x 512mb RAMs? |

Yeh specs please. Is it a prebuilt machine or a custom? If prebuilt what Model/Manufacturer or if Custom what Mobo are you using.
If it says 1GB max, 2GB won't be recognised, or will be limited to 1GB. More likely than not it won't be recognised. |

I seriously have no idea what motherboard, i know the RAM specs:
