I think it's fine. Race is just Pigmentation of the skin, it's perfectly ok.

Interacial relationships...who gives a damn it's as normal as partnerships between two white people, two black people, a french person and a swedish person, a man and a woman, a man and a man, a woman and a woman...
I get so angry that after all this time where the above combinations have publicly existed, people still have problems with about 75% of them.
The world should chill out and stop finding problems that don't exist - if we concentrated on real problems like corrupt governments and the environment we might actually get somewhere.
Sorry, rant over.

This is a pointless debate, who cares about what colour your partner is or whatever, love is love and it shouldnt even cross peoples minds about colour!

I wouldn't say it's a pointless debate, if it was pointless then it's just as pointless as the gay marriage thread which has had quite a fair few diverse replies

I'm mixed race and I have never had any problems with that. People always confuse me with being from different countries which can be quite annoying as they just keep guessing and don't ever ask!

I'm lucky, I've got heritage from white countries, so I don't have to same problem as Kitty, but I wouldn't mind.
Where are your parents from, then?

My friend is part Malaysian, part Singaporian (if that's how you say it), part Dutch and part English, and she is going out with a guy from South Korea

i dont think gay relatonships should be aloud or black and white because they should abide to our rules otherwise because we have to abide theyre rules and i dont find it fair that they are overunning us and taking our jobs that is my opininon but im not disputing anyone elses i have my opinion and you have yours so..

How are we having to follow your rules? You don't HAVE to be in a gay or interracial relationship. We all have choices, like the tone of your message suggests, so don't we have a choice to be gay, or marry a black/white person?

It might be your opinion but you're not really basing it on anything in particular.
You say black people are taking 'our' jobs? If you mean us British peoples jobs, I would argue that a very large majority of black and mixed race people are actually born in the UK and have lived in the UK all of their lives. How can we ban them from getting jobs, they are just as British as any white person and have equal rights. Sure, they might have originated from Africa or South America or wherever in the first place years and years back, but not every white British person is completely from England. I have some Irish and some Scottish in me, and my boyfriend is an eighth French - it's just the same as that.
Also what do you mean by 'abide by our rules'? What are 'our rules' - are you referring to a particular faith?

i agree with scarey i dont think gay couples should be allowed i have no problem with gay women but men ********** sake
and i agree with that they are taking our jobs they shouldnt let all these foreigners in. im not botherd about black english. but have you seen how many polish are in are country.also when you walk in to a corner shop there always speaking diff language. if there gnna live in are country atleast ********** learn are language .

Why are you perfectly okay with gay women but not gay men? I assume you feel threatened by them or something if you're a guy, but you shouldn't feel threatened by someone just because they are slightly different. Gay people don't force their sexuality on people. Straight people seem to - some straight people go round dictating that being straight is the only way you should be. Who are they to dictate who people fall in love with?
I agree that asylum seekers should learn to speak English if they want to live in our country. It is however easier said that done isn't it! They might not know how to gain access to English courses, or realise that courses are available. For all we know, they are desperate to learn the language but just don't know how.
