Labelling People (Emo/Chav)Hey guys,
Im Sick of being labelled an "Emo" and other people labelling people "Chavs"
I Mean.
I Like Rock/Heavy Metal/MCR (OMG!) and I wear rock style hoodies and skinny jeans but im nothing like a stereotypical Emo. Im happy, I have friends i dont cut myself im not bisexual and I have no problem with myself.
With Chavs its if you wear joggers, a nike hoodie and listen to R&B. Hell I hate the new R&B Crap I love the Old stuff but its not what someone wears who makes you who you are. its the way you act
what do you guys think?

Its part of life, and being an emo doesnt nessesaraly mean you want a 3sum with each sex, and have a cutting session in the middle of it.

Labelling is just part of the culture I live in. To the west of me is countryside with loads of beaches where people are "surfy", to the east is the city center where the "emos" hang around outside McDonalds, and further east is all the council housing where "chavs" live. Apparently chav stems from "Council House and Violent".
I don't label people, and I laugh at those who do label. I especially can't stand "emos" who label themselves so. They're meant to be individual and unique, but in trying to do so they end up all dressing exactly the same.

I HATE it when people label others in that way, just because i take pride in my appearance and look after myself i get called 'Plastic' like on mean girls...it infuriates me really.

Actually, that reminded me. The only people I label are the "oranges" - people (mostly girls, but a fair few guys) who wear so much fake tan and over-the-top makeup that they literally look orange.
It's disgusting, and I'm glad our school is clamping down on it - no more barbie dolls strutting around, glowing like the frickin sun!

I dont label but at sixth form there is some division, and many would class the other side of the room as "Chavs"
But I think its stupid wanting to like something.
Anyone seen st. trians, when they go around the room saying here are the goths and there the emos, and over there are the chavs lol.

I get called orange as well because i use fake tan, theres no sun its the winter! If we want to be brown so what? Its a personal choice and it shouldnt matter to other people

I'm not influenced by music genres to what I wear, but when people do thats when they get labled. People should be able to wear what they want and just still be called themselves.

Most of the girls in my year use way too much fake tan and end up looking thus:
That's when they get called orange.
