LYRICS INFORMATION!Hi, ive just spoken to swapitshop and any lyrics which have been put up will eventually get cancelled even if they may have bids!This is what ive been told from swapitshop as there seems to be a problems in regards to recieving these lyric...so swapitshop say. Anyway, to put it simple. if you plan to put up lyrics from 12pm onwards today, they will not be proccessed and will be cancelled. If you have already lyrics up, then some may get cancelled also or infact all. Thats as much information as ive got at the moment. When i get more, i will let everyone know! Adam |

i know the lyrics is getting overcrowded now (LOL) but if SwapitShop is banning it so why dont they just take the lyrics section out from music and the solution is solved.lol | ||||||

I think the point is GRINNERLYNN that it is people like you that is abusing the system.I have just checked the first 15 pages of lyrics and you have about 145,000 swapits to come for basically nothing.That is why you ALWAYS send in your swaps and have such a good rating.Who would NOT send in swaps like that.Then you greatly outbid genuine swappers.A GOOD swapper is the average CHILD who sends in their swaps not someone who sells rubbish because they know they are going to get automated bids,Outbids everyone else because they have millions of undeserved swapits and then sells their wins on ebay.I know I speak the truth but no-one will have the ***** to agree. | ||||||

i think this is stupid, swapitshop are the 1's who buy the lyrics.......
and they arent free swapits, not quite 35p per stamp 3p per ink and paper 5p per envolope i also use seletape to seal s thats like 15p so it isnt as much as u think |

Personally i don't see a problem. I think the reason people are getting upset is because they didn't profit from it whereas grinnerlynn as taken advantage and got alot of profit using a clever loophole. Also think of the other reason swapitshop might be doing it. Person sends in swap parcel for lyrics and has to wrap each one seperately due to different people winning. Swapits gets them and takes the stamps (if 30 lyrics then it's £10.50 in stamps) and gives something that costs nothing to them. Swapits profit, seller profits.
Think to yourself if you knew about it and could profit from it would you? |

yeh but they hardly send items out with stamps, cause they either use special delivery or they use lables with postage already paid. surely they dont need this many stamps which there going to get from just the lyrics section? | ||||||

i list a whole load of stuff on SwapitShop, the stuff SwapitShop bid on is great and yep it gives me a nice lot of swapits, but i also trawl bootsales for stuff to list cheap for the general jo, where do you think i get the money to do all the 999 ps2 games, 999 xbox games, and all the trading cards and game accessorises? not to mention the 1 and 249 swapit stars, (and no none of the 249 stars are off SwapitShop, they have been bought by me)
I have deleted all the lyrics that didnt have bids yet so you can stop throwing your toys out the pram now
And unless you hadnt noticed the lyric section has always been there and have always been full of lyric for as long as i can remember, i just thought id give it a few days of listing to see if SwapitShop bid on them, and lo and behold they did. I SwapitShop dont want these items why have the catagories and why bid on them? it is them fueling the fire. well ill carry on listing and buying up games (that usually cost me £2-£3 each on bootsales and list them at 999 just so people can afford them) cos as youve pointed out, im a very mean person lol |

And i think you are taking advantage of the system and your budget. Since you have got around 500k just from the lyrics alone recently, you can afford to buy about 7 wiis which you can sell on ebay or anywhere else for around £130-£150 EACH so when your saying you go buy a few games at 2 or 3 quid each, its hardly a convincing argument! Stop cheating others and misusing the whole system! You are about 40 after all so you should be the most mature and sensible about this all so when you are trying to fight your corner as you are now, treating others like they are stupid, "don't through your toys out of the pram" etc etc, you are the child here! Enough said! |

Age is not a factor on swapitshop. It's aimed at teenagers but there is no barrier for age just on swaps that have an age restriction so you could be 34 and put that in and they wouldn't stop you. | ||||||

am backing grinnerlynn ... I dont know what the problem is, yeah grinnerlynn might be selling like 100z of lyrics and making 60-80k on just lyrics but then look at the postage and all the cost. I am only 15 and i sell around 90 lyrics every 14 days and its the same for me on how grinnerlynn processes her lyrics. |

Yes i have them on, dso you see any bids, i listed them to see if they would get removed, i have the same title as you! I listed about 600, about 550 got removed and them stayed on. Just because you didn't think to do it, and Lynn has, you're getting angry? If SwapitShop are bidding on them, how is she scamming/cheating/abusing?? Theres a section to list them in... so she lists them. As for age, SwapitShop has no age limit. Just get over the fact you didn't think of the idea and move on. Mario, this is life, you win some you lose some, there have always Been lyrics on swapitshop, when I first used swapitshop in late 2005, there were lyrics being sold, even I did, however grinnerlynn used them to their full potential. After reading it all, I think I would have to go with Grinnerlynn on this one.
If Swapitshop didnt want Lynn to have swapits and bids on her swaps, they wouldnt go and bid on loads of her lyrics. They are obviously bidding on peoples swaps to put more swapits into circulation, and they are doing it for a reason, because if more swapits are in circulation, the site will be more active in the long run, they will get more sponsors from advertisers etc, and swapitshop will get more money to put back into the system, and give us even more frenzys. I dont think people SHOULD be listing hundreds of pages of lyrics, a few here and there are fine, but hundreds is a bit OTT . Swapitshop is about swapping proper items, and giving swappers items they want for their swapits, but considering Lynn is selling good items as well as Lyrics, it doesnt make the situation even half as bad.
As said, if Swapitshop didnt want to give Lynn swapits, and swaps to send in, they wouldnt bid. They are clearly doing it for a reason. To finish of the post, as I've written far too much on a silly argument already lol, I do agree with them banning lyrics, if thats what there going to do, but I think all ones which have bids already should go ahead and be processed, as grinnerlynn (and anyone else), will have taken the time to write all the listings, and list them, and may have even printed all the lyrics out, so should be completed as it wouldnt really be fair on them. Anyway, end of my moan, sorry Mario lol, nothing against you, or anyone, just think that if you were really against it so much, you shouldnt have listed them yourself! |
