SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT SCAMMERS! read on...!When scammers scam you and you spend ages ringing in to swapitshop and stuff and getting your swapits refunded. I've heard that the scammer doesn't get the swapits taken back off him.. as swapitshop cannot be sure who is telling the truth, as they don't actually properly check the item to see for themselves. ALSO when you get your swapits refunded TO ADD TO ALL THAT the scammer ALSO doesn't get given a negative rating.. they just keep the positive rating points which they got given when it was posted on to the buyer from swapitshop (when swapitshop didn't check the item properly). This is obviously why scammers keep scamming.. they get to keep the swapits and alot of the time their ratings don't get changed to a negative rating when your swapits get refunded. I say that something should be done. It should be advertised eveywhere who the scammers are so that people don't have to waste their time with selfish, horrible, sick people like them. Who agrees..?? tehe
I've emailed swapitshop about it.. but of course they haven't done anything.. so it's up to the rest of us!
Anyone got any suggestions..?
Also lots of the new swappers join not knowing who the scammers are.. they bid on their stuff.. and of course it's a con.. and that puts them off swapitshop as they think it's all scams. (That's what happened with my cousins and a couple of my mates).
It's just that i've been thinking that we all complain about being scammed.. there's obviously lots of it going on.. and it will continue to go on.. if know one does anything. As it is great for the scammers.. as they're getting lots of swapits for absolutely nothing.. which obviously isn't fair on the rest of us! They shouldn't be able to get away with it all this easily. One person (ie) me! complaining to swapitshop isn't going to make any difference. But i think lots of us all complaining about the same thing all at once could make a difference. I think the scammers should be fined swapits and stuff. What does everyone else think?

Yeah ive phoned them a few times about this they always say we will do out best and send warnin emails too the swappers yet i dont think they do anyhthing!

I think scammers should be fined a little more than 11 swapits!! tehe
11 swapits out of their probable thousands isn't going to make much difference!! lol

I was told that swapitshop often use their accounts to buy things to see if people send (especially newbies and those with bad ratings), and if the item is as described they resell it, if not as described the person gets swappits taken off of them and their rating decreases. I have no idea if this is true or not but it does make sense.

That wouldnt happen wid real money so it shouldnt happen with swappits

Ino swapitshop are just really careless.
If they checked the swaps properly in the first place.. then none of this would happen. They cannot take the swapits off the seller if it is a scam because they cannot be 100% sure who is telling the truth, and who is not, as they did not check the item properly when it came through.
So scammers just get away with it time and time again.
Anoying isn't it!
