Yes, I play Diamond.
Before you can trade etc, You need to get the National Dex.

no i thought you had friend codes
but thats mystery dungeon my bad lol
is platinum set in sinnoh still
you can trade without national dex but can only get the sinnoh pokemon

1st yeah its in sinnoh its like emerald was for sapphire and ruby and crystal was for silver and gold.
giratina is the story pokemon and youll get palkia dialga to reveal giratina and he has a new forme and so does shaymin.
you do not need the national dex to trade and battle all you need is to go downstairs in a pokecenter and talk to the woman whell take you in and youll get your freind code which can be viewed in the pal pad that she gives you.
so yeah you do ave freind codes

and when underground how do you get to the parts wat show on the map but its all dead end?

by going underground in a different part of sinnoh like in the bottom corner of the map would be the bottom corner of sinnoh
and yeah i use action replay but its boring just diling them up also i use pokesav which is much better but i normally play through without cheating as its better

yeah but a lot of starters are just clones and legendaries are that they cheat to get then trade for legitimates.
