With a baby in her belly, Jamie Lynn Spears may have to kiss her acting career goodbye.

In the new issue of OK! magazine, the 16-year-old sister of Britney Spears announced that she's 12 weeks pregnant and that the father is her 18-year-old boyfriend, Casey Aldridge.

To Be Honest I Think Its A Young Age To Have A Baby. 16, And She Still At School.

But On The Other Hand She Says She Is Going To Take Care Of It And Everything.

I Was Pretty Suprised When I Found Out Because When I Have Seen Her On The Telly On Zoey 101 And Awards Shows Etc, She Doesn't Seem Like The Kind Of Person To Have A Child At 16.

But Still If She Has Been With Her Boyfriend For 2 Years They Must Be Commited.

So I Have Mixed Views On This Really.

And Shouldn't This Be Moved To Debates And Dicussions?

i also cant belive she seems normal out off her sister but turned out shes the same.. getting pregnant at 16 is really seeing as its her 1st child...

Hmm.... I have mixed feelings about this one too.

A) She is only 16.. And like Hayley says, she's still at school, and she may not be able to take care of the baby.

B) Well, 2 years with her boyfriend does show that she may be committed, like Hayley says again.

C) I think that she is WAYYY to young to have a child.. Imagine having your mum only 16 years older than you...

Scary stuff...

Everyone sounds so shocked that she's 16 and pregnant, but over here in the UK there are loads of teenage mothers age 13 and 14. There's not a certain age when you are ready to have a baby, everybody is different, so for her maybe she's ready now? It might sound crazy at such a young age to be ready for a baby, but I know somebody who got pregnant at 16 and she'd planned it

Just because she's young doesn't mean she can't take good care of the child.

Little kids liked her but now they found out she's pregnant at 16.. there going to stop watching her shows, you know how easily little kids can be influenced.
