sex questionim 13 almost 14 i was wondering could i have sex now? im just wondering is that what people my age do? i hear that some of my friends have been doing stuff with girls and i dont even socialise with girls, i feel like i need a girlfriend its wierd

Most kids your age won't have had sex, don't worry about it. It's not even technically allowed until you're 16, and it's nothing to be ashamed of if you don't have one, most aren't even 'proper' relationships at that age, no matter what they tell you. Whatever they say is probably a lie anyway, don't let it get to you.
Just get on with your life, you'll meet plenty of girls if you just act yourself. 
Of course, this may have been a lie to make you feel better, that's up for you to decide.

Well, for someone your age, I think having sex is a one way ticket for a bad reputation. Although, I guess it depends where you live :\
But yeah, if you're uncertain about it, it prooves youre not ready.
Leave all these thoughts until you have a long term serious relationship, and you feel as if you're ready.
Love isn't a race, despise how many things your friends have apparantly done with girls. Girls will respect you more if they know you're not just with them for the sexual perks.

As lots of people have already said, the chances are people your age haven't really done the stuff you've heard about. A couple of my friends are 19 nearly 20 and they are still single, never been with anybody before! It's nothing to worry about, people do things at their own pace. I didn't meet anybody I wanted to be with until I was 16 n half, and even then I waited until I was 17 to have sex.
Still with the same guy and it's over 4 years now

Then join a sports club or a youth club of some sort. You will get out and do things other than Xbox, and you will meet new people

Hi paul!
Anyway, you know I've gone through the feeling useless thing, and what I found is joining an amateur dramatics group really helps. It made me feel like I was part of something. This could also be a sport team, volunteering for charity, maybe start a band with some mates, or a dance group, or whatever. Just do what you love to do and share it with others!

yeh mate just do what you want - i think that to be honest you should do whatever feels right
if you think your ready then maybe, but if there are any doubts, its best to wait until you feel like you are ready for that type of commitment (and i know we are already talking just i wanted you to know this for future reference)

Just because you chose to it doesn't mean that's the right decision for everyone.
And there are laws that say you have to wait until 16 to have sex for several reasons, one is that if you do it too earlier you can cause damage which (although it is rare for it to be this serious) can lead to your sexual organs becoming damaged and inability to have kids in later life because of it.
I would say for anyone wait until you are in a long-term relationship and are over the age of 16, and then wait until you both feel ready.

But ppl break laws and can cause themself damage so whats wrong with having sex at a younger age? ppl drink at a younger age and cause themself damage and im sure its bettar to have sex than to do that im not saying i havent or dont but so what life is for living .So Paulolad Do whatever feels most comfortable to you and your partner forget about laws im sure your not goint ot be thinking about the law when your doing it, oh nooo , so forget it and do what you want bud

And it's definitely not better to have sex underage than drink o_O
I think I'd prefer to get completely off my face than spend my weekends looking after a child thanks to my immature, unthoughtful behaviour
You can never repeat your first time.
So wait until youre completely ready, don't make the mistake in losing it underaged.

Im joking lol its all about the person your with - if you serious enough and you feel totally comfortable with it then yeah maybe its right - but id still wait till your atleast 15, me and this girl said we would do it when we were 14 - she did, i didnt - im not worse off. Never get forced to it either, its a very serious decision. I plan to wait till im with someone i trust and i know isnt just a quick fling. Also take things step by step by doing more sexual things which i wont mention as i think it will get censored then eventually you will be ready with the person that YOU feel right with. The sex ed at my school is absoulutly rubbish but its easy enough to work things out for yourself or make sure you have a mate who you are comfortable with. Oh yeah never be embarrased 'cos your a virgin, out of you and someone whos had more than enough by the age of 14 id say youd be the bigger man

yeah, RJ the 'sex ed' at my school is rubbish too, but we had this day called 'relationships day' and basically we had 3 lessons on different topics; the first was on safe sex and sexually transmitted diseases, and LOL, i put a condom on a buttplug ;D

all we have done on 4 years of high school is watch 1 vid of a girl getting forced by a friend to have sex - didnt even see the sex part lol waste of time

We had a cover teacher once for sex ed and she put on this really dodgy video. Basically there was this talking condom dressed as a cowboy (complete with boots, chequed shirt and an acoustic guitar) with changing background singing "Johnny Condom... Johnny Condom..." and then he was singing something about diseases and pregnancy and stuff.
Then after that there was this guy going up to couples in a bar and asking them if they practised safe sex and then he explained to them the importance of condoms.
Our class had a right laugh.

We did sex ed in primary school, then once in high school. It shows it doesn't help, 1 girl got pregnant and had an abortion, and the other had the baby 2 weeks back, haha.

I don't think sex/relationship education is always very helpful anyway, because the people who haven't had sex yet will start to worry that they should be doing it and then rush into it when they're not necessarily ready. I think there should be sexual health clinics available in schools for the people who want to find out stuff, rather than forcing all of that information on the more naive kids.

You shouldn't do it. Personally I'm 14 myself and me friends are doing the same thing. You can have a girlfriend with out *doing it*, But with todays media influence I guess most kids think they don't have a choice.

Ya don't have to have a gf or sex right now, it's your choice when, leave it 'till you're ready. The legal age to have sex is 16 anyway, and if ya forget condoms and your gf gets pregnant at your age, you're both gonna be in for a WORLD of bad, so i'd definitely leave it for now.

Our sex ed was dodgy we learnt about threesomes and how dangerous it is and how dangerous anal and oral sex is.
some guy got really into it.
