Speaking Aloud

Anybody got any advice on speaking out loud to people? This includes interviews and lectures to the class? (I know the whole underwear thing lol , it doesn't work for me

It's just that I seem to have a phobia of speaking aloud to important people or many people at once. I just freeze and start jabbering on about something completly off-topic    and that's if I talk at all.

It's just that I've got a few coming up and I'm really nervous about it.

Thanks for any help

Just stare at the wall. .:Simple:.

At uni this year I had to do two group presentations, and fair enough it was in groups of about 10 of us, but it was a 45 minute presentation so I had to have several solo speaking parts. I hadn't done anything like this before but I just made sure I had everything ready beforehand (like my script, bottle of water) so I felt as relaxed as I could, and then when I was reading I made sure I didn't rush it so I didn't come across as nervous. I also made sure I breathed at the right times and stuff like that.

Maybe ask a family member or a school teacher who regularly do presentations.

I am the same and 5 have to do a 20 min physics presentation on my Birthday tbhis year.

I am sure you will be fine.

try joining a drama club. It loosens you up until you don't care what people think of you and stuff. It worked for me because I used to be like you.
