I shall continue to pledge my support to the Royal British Legion each year by contributing money to their cause, both in purchasing a poppy, to wear with pride, and with donations in their collection tins.
However, whilst a good idea, I do not see how having a banner, which claims that SSL supports the British Legion, shows your support.
If you want to show your support, then give doantions, and wear the poppy. The money raised means the Legion can help many serving and ex-Service men, women and their dependants overcome severe problems and appalling injustice.
There are nearly 10.5 million people in the UK right now who could, at any time, turn to us for help.
Last year alone, thery spent more than £75 million carrying out welfare work among the serving and ex-Service community. This was largely funded by the kind donations and fundraising efforts of their supporters.
