Swap Closed By SwapitshopHi everyone. I recently sent in a voucher as a swap and they received it today. Swapitshop sent me an email saying that they had received the item and it was going to be posted to the winner. The swapits woulds be added within the hour. I got the +2 rating and the 15 swapits early postage thing but it has been over an hour and I haven't received the actual swapits for the item but instead I received another email saying that the swap has been closed because either I asked them to cancel it or the item was not as described.
I did not cancel it and the item was as described. I still had that +2 and did not have a -4 for the swap being incorrect.
I phoned them up and they said that they could not find an expiry date on the voucher. I told them that the description said that there was absolutely no expiry date and it can be used whenever. They said that it was a mistake and they have now sent it back to me. I have sent these vouchers before and they have worked fine. They replied to that comment by saying that they do not regularly check swaps.
I am really annoyed as I have wasted my money on 2 first class stamps and I have got nothing apart from 15 swapits and +2 rating points.
It was an original authentic and genuine gift voucher so there should of been no problems.

Ring them and tell them that you are not going to send forwarding stamps with your next two swaps which you send via 1st class as a normal letter size (I assume a voucher wouldn't be more than 5mm thick) because there was nothing wrong with the swap and they even e-mailed you to tell you that the swap was going to be forwarded on to the seller.

What do you mean they couldent find expirey? Swapitshop dont check their items any more :*(

Funny thing is that last time I sent in two of them so they were worth twice as much and there were no problems.
s&p - they do not expire. I even confirmed it with the shop!!
allan12224 - They said that they do not check swaps regularly but this time they did and they said that there was a problem.

Thanks for the replies.
StacFace - I will try your idea as that sounds fair.
I had a really good bid on the voucher and that's why I am really annoyed.
I could have made a good profit if they had accepted it.
