It was scary 30 years ago because no-one had seen anything like it, but compared to todays standards of horror films, the excorcist really isnt scary at all.
I actually thought it was funny when the girl puked up!

Really? I've bought it but because of what i've read about 30 years ago, i'm scared to watch it lol but if what you said is true, it's not even scary lol

I watched it with my grandad and cousin when I slept over at my nanna and grandad's house once after nanna fell asleep (me and my sisters used to take it in turns regularly and nanna used to insist staying up then always fell asleep in her armchair at 9/10ish.
I was like 8 at the time and I wasn't scared by it but thought it was a good horror film... if anyone gets what I mean by that...

...to sleep at my nanna's house, as she didn't want all of us over at the same time as we would mess about too much so we took it in turns to sleep every other Friday night normally.
