Ok well i have been off for 2 days from school cos feeling really ill and i think i may have tonsillitis after looking at this site

and i have all those symptoms
but i dont know whether to go see a doctor or not =[

I have had tonsilitus. You have nothind to worry about.

Just go to the doctors and they will give you some medicine.

You only have to be on it for like 5days.

I would go asap.. cus just think you don't want to be ill all half term.

will bug my mum to take me 2moz =] she said to me yesterday that she used to get tonsillitis loads when she was a kid lol typical but she also said to me that i probs just had a cold so decided to look it up

EDIT:grrr just asked her and she kept saying that the doctors wouldnt give me anything for it and then she said it was just a cold =[ its actually got worse since yesterday and now she wont take me

doubt it =[ 1 cos it would look like im sciving school and 2 cos im under 16 i dunno if i could get the medicine
my mum and dad just think its funny now that i looked it up on the internet cos i thought it may be tonsillitis and now they just saying i have a cold =[ so cant even go to doctors and im ment to be going out on saturday

I think im now the most unluky person this week =[ first i think i have tonsillitis,then last night i was up all night from really really bad ear ache and now i have got conjunctivitis

See a doctor

the earlier they identify you as being prone, then the quicker they can get you the right treatment if it keeps coming back i.e. a tonsilectomy.

think im getting better now as sore throat is like nearly completely gone and i aint got ear ache or headache now but me eye looks really funny lol but the eyedrops grrrr they hurt more than the eye itself lol

Awww,dont be upset! We all have Tonsilitus at one point in our lives,,or some people for example,,your mum has had it several times,, I suppose you are unlucky these week =[ x Butt lets hope u can still go 2 tha Piccies =] x But if yoor mum let you go to the piccies,,Dont Hug,,Kiss or put your mouth near anybody in case it gets passed on! It might be a bit extreme but.. if its still hurting and ure mum wont take you call child line.. freephone 0800 1111 they should help..

lol nah dont think i will be calling childline
anyway only my eye hurts now and its gone red and a bit swollen

dunno if thats normal lol so going to chemist later to see what they say as doctors aint open and then my mum said if it gets any worse she will take me to doctors on monday =] finally lol

went to the doctor today =] me sore throat and everything is gone but i have a burst ear drum haha hence the really bad ear ache.

one good thing came out of it though cos my dad didnt believe me when i said my ear really hurt and he told me to go back to bed and now the doctor said i would of been in agony cos burst me ear drum haha so proved my dad wrong and he was like "oh" lol
