Trading swapsI have made this guide to create less mess on the board.1. Firstly, you bid/buy now an item, of your choice. 2. The seller then packages up the item carefully. and posts it with 2 sets of stamps attached. One set to post to swapitshop, the other to forward the package or parcel to you. 3. When you recieve the parcel, thoroughly check that the item is not damaged, and the seller has included everything. If not, contact Swapitshop straightaway on the contact details below. You will then be refunded your swapits, and the seller will get a -4 rating. What happens if the seller doesn't send my swap? Unfortunatly, this is quite common with new/ red star swappers, so be cautious when buying. When a seller doesn't send their swap within 14 days, the buyer can wither chose to cancel the swap, or extend it for another 3 days. If extended, and not recieved to swapitshop after the 3 days, you can then choose to cancel the swap again. If not, the swap will automatically be cancelled after 4 weeks. The seller will recieve a -3 rating for any un-sent swaps. What happens if the seller does send my swap? Fortunatly, however, this is quite coomon for green/silver/gold swappers. You will recieve your swap in the post from the seller. If swapitshop recieved the swap within 5 days, the seller gets a +5 rating, if, however, they send it within 14 days, they will get a +1 rating. How to Package swaps You MUST package all swaps so they are secure for dispatch to swapitshop and your buyer. Use padded envelopes for things on the heavy side, and courier bags for medium items i.e. glow sticks/LED Torches. However, a pack of cards or something similar is fine to go into a normal envelope. Can i also stress that you go to the post office to get your swap weighed if you are not sure of how many stamps to add.
