I just treat Christmas as like an end of year celebration. I'm not a religious person, I'm not even spiritual anymore in fact.
I really enjoyed RE as a subject. I took the short course GCSE and got an A grade and then I chose Religious Studies for A-Level which wasn't really about the bible - more about philosophy and ethics.
Yeah, I also just treat it just as an end-of-year celebration, and I also think that's exactly what RS should be about (am I the only one who calls it Religious Studies).
By the way, how did you get an A in a short-course GCSE? I thought you could only get up to a C in short-course.
We were told that we had to take short course RE and short course ICT - they're just half the syllabus basically I think. You can get all the normal grades up the A* and I got an A. The ones where you can only get up to a C are foundation papers which are usually offered in Maths, Science and English.
