Relationships before the age of about 14 aren't really proper relationships in my opinion. Sex is meant for proper adult relationships with somebody you love and trust. You haven't mentioned that you're in love with her - time means nothing if you still aren't in love with the person after however many years.

As a few people have already said - if you were ready you wouldn't be debating about it in your mind and definately wouldn't be asking for advice from strangers.

If you love each other, she should understand when you tell her you don't feel ready.
