I'm going up to Nottingham tomorrow for four days to stay with my friend who goes to Nottingham Trent uni  

It's only costing about £30 to get there and back! I'm getting Megabus up to London then train to Nottingham, and two trains to get home on Monday. I live in the Brighton area to give you all a rough idea of how far I'm going.

So yeh I won't be on the forum from after tonight, up until Monday evening.

yeah good plan, also if you can avoid, try and sit on two seats (so you on one and your bags on another) so you don't get and weirdos sitting next to you.

Yeah will do, I tend to do that on trains as well. It might not even be busy I suppose. What I'm trying to work out though is why it's a 3 and half hour journey to London Victoria...only takes an hour on the train.

I'll be fine, I'm only wary of weirdos on public transport at night really. Last year I was coming back from Winchester with my friend at about 9pm and this drunk sat next to us who was going on and on about how he was gay and going to Brighton for a night out. He kept dropping the panini he had lol but anyway... Another drunk guy turned up and sat next to us too and was really homophobic so there were drunken homophobic arguments going on and everything lol.
