that should be they were not they are, the IRA doesnt exist as a terrorist organisation, plus you cant really compare as the IRA actually were doing it for a good reason and no im not irish but i do know the history on it and it was england who were in the wrong, same with the vietnamese when america invaded they were in the wrong but its a common misconseption that england and america are never in the wrong.
but islamic terrorist are just extremists who have wierd morals and teachings and opinions about the west
