Moderator Position Applying For: Global Moderator
1. How often can you moderate the forum?
I can moderate the forum nearly at all times. Apart from when I go to college. Below is the times that I will most likely be on:
Monday - Friday = I can go on the forum for about one hour in the morning about 7AM. Then after college which is about 4PM I can moderate the forum for about three hours. At the moment I usually stay on until 9PM
Saturday - Sunday = In the morning I like to have a laying and I could moderate the forum at 11AM. Then I would be popping back to the forum in many occasions. I would be able to moderate the forum for about 4 hours on a weekend.
2. Why you think you would be a good moderator?
I was one of the first few people who joined up on SSL and got many other members to join as well. I was the 26th member on the forum. I only joined SSL because it had a better design than the forum that I was one before and the members that where on it was kind and not spammers, it was controlled properly. Unlike the forum which I used to go on. If someone spammed no one would care it would still be there!
I joined the forum on 1st Mar 2007. I have been a member of SSL just over one year now. Throughout being a member I have learned a great deal. I have seen moderators come and go and which of them have been good moderators or did nothing.
They was a time where I did get banned, spammed a lot and posted in the forum
games to get my post count up. I am ashamed of this because I was such a idiot! I know now that my post count doesn’t matter its what you post that matters. All I did was post ‘1,234’ for a post in the forum games section and it got my post count up. At the time I thought it was great but now its daft because I wasn’t really having fun I was just doing it to get my post count up and what for, nothing. I also posted quite a lot of posts around the forum and I was writing a message so fast that all it came out is this poor punctuation and loads of people complained at me and I finally can understand why they did. It was because I was a idiot who thought he was the best of everyone on the forum and posted utter rubbish.
I can understand why I have been a member for over a year and to not be a moderator. But I have improved and matured. I would like a second chance and would like people to say how I was an idiot but improved and turned my personality around. I don’t want to be remember as this person who was a complete fool.
The time I have been here I have run a lot of things a few of the things where:
Monday Quiz
Lots Of Other Games
FREE Codes
Friends Link
Top Rating On EBay
I have run lots more as well on the forum, I think this helped people and I am glad to be able to run this threads.
I have been a member of Swapitshop for about 2 years now. I started off with a user called ‘daniel11114’ Then I stared the account of ‘Amazing_swaps’ up. I am soon hoping to do a frenzy with up to 25 products. I have just over 400+ rating. Which isn’t much compared to some people with more. I have no minutes what so ever. I think trust in people is very important if you don’t have trust in someone your not going to do business with them.
I know a lot of knowledge about swapitshop in my two years. I can help with certain problems with swapitshop if people are having trouble. I know how things work and I understand the change from the old style from the new style. I just can’t wait until the next update with many other features it would be good to see. I understand the rules and guideless of swapitshop and I will help out wherever I can. I already help people with my code thread on this site.
3. Have you had previous experience as a moderator?
Yes, I have been a moderator on many forums. Although none of the forums I have worked with had over 4,000 members. I have worked with about 10 or so myfreeforum forums. I have moderated about 20 other forums on different systems.

4.
Why do you want to be a moderator
I go on SSL every day and would love the chance to be apart of the staff and to help out in running the forum! I think I can do a brilliant job and I hope I will if I get picked. I have also tried to be a moderator before and when I look back I don’t think I was ready but I am now ready and want the job.
I don’t donate to any forum because I don’t think they use the money properly and I have donated £10 to the forum so far. I think if I didn’t really like it I wouldn’t of given £10 to it. I might try and donate abet more to help the cost of the ads-free.
5. Anything else...

I think I have said everything and sorry there is a lot of writing, its just getting my point across. Being a member for over one year does add up!
