Moderator Position Applying For: Lounge Moderator.
How often can you moderate the forum? More often than usual if I was a mod. Go on before school, after school, weekends.
Why you think you would be a good moderator? I think I would be a good moderator as I am frequently online, well spoken and hardly ever go on holiday. LoL.
Have you had previous experience as a moderator? I know what to do as I have previously run forums on my own. Know how to lock topics, move etc.
Why do you want to be a moderator? As it would be a big achievement and help the forum out by getting rid of spam and things.

How often can you moderate the forum?
Pretty much every day after school for a few hours.
Why you think you would be a good moderator?
I am on here a lot and love swapitshop. I feel i can help cut down spam as i will be quick to the scene and cut out any nonsence.
Have you had previous experience as a moderator?
No but i would love to have the experience.
Why do you want to be a moderator
I would like to have the experience of moderating a forum with 10000+ members and i love this forum so would like to be a part of the team.

I am not likely to resign any time soon if i get the job as i think i will be on here for a long time to come. I am going into year 10 so have no major exams or anything to worry about like that.

I can moderate the forum for about 5 hours a day on weekdays and about 6-7 hours on weekends.
Why you think you would be a good moderator?
I think i would be a good moderator because i'm never rude, I never swear and I try to help whenever I can. I also find alot of spamming which never gets removed and I think i can help with getting rid it.

No, but I can learn since I am pretty good with computers

Like I said I find alot of spamming which never gets removed and I think i can help with getting rid of it. Although I joined SSL pretty recently, i think I would be able to moderate SSL appropiatly.

Well, I am on everyday for at least 3 or 4 hours, most of the time alot longer. This is now the only forum I use so would be very dedicated!
Why you think you would be a good moderator?
I would be able to sort problems out very quickly, with me being online so much. I know alot of things about SSL that I also think would come in handy...
Have you had previous experience as a moderator?
Yes, many other Myfreeforums I have either been and admin or moderator for. I know all the tools very well and how to use them. I know what to do and what not to do.
Why do you want to be a moderator
To help SSL, thats the simple reason. There has been lots of problems recently that have taken extra long to sort out and I do honestly beleive I can change that

How often can you moderate the forum?Weekdays (1.5 to 2.5 hours)
Weekends (2.5 to 6 hours)
Holidays (4 to 8.5 hours)
Why you think you would be a good moderator?
I think I would be a good moderator because I am quite intelligent (IQ = 134), I enjoy being on this forum and know the people very well, I also am very trust worthy, I have enough time on my hands, and I have been a member for quite a while so know how the forums work. Another big reason is that I have moderated about 3 other forums but this would be a completely different level but still I could handle it. Also I have been an admin twice and also I use proper English all the time. I always treat members kindly and have never got a warning from a mod oor admin.
Have you had previous experience as a moderator? As I said before, yes, I have been a moderator 4 times, the biggest of those forums probably having about 900 members and I have administrated 2 forums, the biggest having about 500 members.
Why do you want to be a moderator?
I would love to give something back to this forum that have gave me so much but the main reason is I hate people spamming etc. It really annoys me. Another reason is that I want to make this forum even better

Not really, I suppose. I have went for this maybe 3 or 4 times now but this time I want it more than ever. Please pick me because and remember as a lot of people know I am on this forum a lot.

How often can you moderate the forum?
Personally, I feel I would be a great moderator for this extra-ordinary forum. I cannot guarantee an exact time when I will be online, but in general, when my internet is working, I am on here.
During the weekends, I do usually spend the majority of my time looking through posts on this very forum, and so I should be on quite often, maybe five to six hours.
Whilst at school, I do generally find time to use the internet in lessons, although class work takes full priority, but when free time is alocated, I generally am on this forum, commenting, talking and having laughs.
Why you think you would be a good moderator?
I would be an excellent moderator as I generally am a problem solver. On this forum, there are many threads in which arguments transpire, members pick on newbies for not understanding the rules, and I am generally there to calm the situation down or clarify the rules without using offensive language, and in full sentences.
Further qualities include my ability to make new members feel 'at home' with the forum. During my time at the other forum, I was recruited by 'Mike' to send warming invites to new members, which I did voluntarily. If you moderators or admins want to view some examples, feel free to private message me, I would be happy to share some delightful messages which can easily be modified for this forum.
As people have already pointed out their IQ's, I shall do the same, although I feel your IQ has no relevance to whether you would be a good moderator. My IQ currently stands at an astonishing 159.
Have you had previous experience as a moderator?
Unfortunately, I have not had any experience as a moderator recently. One time, however, I was moderator on a footballing forum before I decided to quit due to year 9 SATS, and there was a huge success rate, total members rose by around 60% in my first week (from 20 to 32), and total posts also increased accordingly.
Why do you want to be a moderator
This one I will come out cleanly- I want to be moderator to improve my life qualities as well as learn how to take better responsibility of things that are very valuable to other people, as this forum is to Joey, Zero and most other members.

Because i like sorting out problems between members and on items, i would also be able to sort out spam , and make sure all the forums are running properly and cleanly.I have also started writing in proper english on this forum instead of slang so members will be able to understand me.

No i curently have not , so i am looking to start off here and see how i get on.

Because i want to help out members with there problems and help out with members posting spam or rude /racist comments.

Like in my other post: I'll start with sorry for everything lately - I've been a total idiot and I know I wont get this job because of that - but I'll try anyway.
Moderator Position Applying For: The Lounge
How often can you moderate the forum? On weekends I can moderate the forum from 10AM to 8PM with a gap in between for lunch and on school days - 4PM to 8PM with a break for tea.
Why you think you would be a good moderator? I can sort out spammers, lock split and move topics and post frequently - I have active posts in all The Lounge sections and know all members well. I always check sections when there is a new postto see if there is any spam to report and anything intresting to post about. I've NEVER been banned on my whole time on SSL. I understand that I can be annoying but so can every member on this forum. I have nearly 7K posts and have donated cash, time and effort to the forum. I visit normally everyday when I can and I'm always actively posting around. Also I CAN type and spell properely!

Yep - I have made many of my own forum which haven't been so good but I've learnt how to use the forum tools and sort out spammers etc. I have also been moderator on OGF - I rather good gaming forum and I think I did pretty well there - locking topics, giving out warnings etc. I liked moderating those forums and know SSL would be harder - but I'm sure I'd cope with it! So I have had experience!
Why do you want to be a moderator? I know I'd be able to show all members and all the ones that call me a spammer the real side of me which I haven't yet been able to. I have done lots for the forum (running betting, scratch card, forum awards etc.) and would like to do even more to help and give SSL back what it gave me. I'd love to be able to make the forum 100% spam free and remove and punish all spammers. I currently cant. I'd love to visit SSL knowing I don't have to put up with spam everywhere.
Anything else... I know I WONT get admin or mod but though I may as well try - seems I'm bored. But now I have taken the effort - maybe you could consider me to get moderator OR admin. If you choose me - SSL will be spam free and you wont regret your choice. Thanks!
