Hey,

These are the moderator applications. They will be different to previous times and a bit more complicated.

We will be having:
2 Global Moderators (they will moderate all the forums)

Then there will be a number of other moderators who will moderate specific sections of the forum.

These will be:
2 members to moderate 'Swaps' and 'Free Swapits' and 'SwapitShop'.
2 members to moderate 'The Lounge'.
2 members to moderate 'Teen Lounge' and 'Technology' and 'Money Saving Lounge' and 'eBay'
The Global Moderators will moderate 'SwapitShop Lounge Info' and 'Welcome'.

You may apply for only one moderator job. So you can apply for:
Global Moderator
SwapitShop Sections Moderator
The Lounge Moderator
Extras Moderator (Teen Lounge, Technology, Money Saving Lounge and eBay)

How often can you moderate the forum?
Daily 2-4 hours
I can be on 5-10 hours each day on weekends and same on summer holidays.
Why you think you would be a good moderator?
I spend a lot of time on the forum, I'm sensible, don't break the rules, kind to newbies and ability to seek out spam posts
Have you had previous experience as a moderator?
yes, on gaming forums
Why do you want to be a moderator
I have applied so many times but haven't got the postition and personally I think I can work very hard at this job
Anything else...
I just hope I'm picked as one of the new moderators

I'm online daily for about 3 hours

Why you think you would be a good moderator?
I think i'll be a good moderator because i'm online regularly, use correct punctuation and spelling. I am also a popular friendly member who gets on with everyone! I also have good knowledge of Swapitshop as I am a user myself

Have you had previous experience as a moderator?
I have moderated a few forums in the past, and know how to do moderator related tasks.

Why do you want to be a moderator?
Because I feel I can help the forum, and i'd quite like to moderate a large forum, that is active and friendly

How often can you moderate the forum? : every day accept for next week as im on holiday! im on every single day of the week and several hours a day

Why you think you would be a good moderator? : i am always online and will be good at helping people out i am a nice friendly member and can really help this forum become a better place

Have you had previous experience as a moderator? i have a been admins and mods on many other forums and those forums have become very succesfull

Why do you want to be a moderator : i love this forum so much and would love to be a big part of it while helping other people out!

Well for one I know how to spell, Like it should be "why do you think..
Lol but seriously, I have good humour, Know all the rules, Have never recieved a warning, Get along with other members (Read my comments section) and I am on alot, More than the current modderators for sure.

Have you had previous experience as a moderator?
Yes, An admin on PHPBB2, A mod on PHPBB3 and a Super mod on IPB.

Why do you want to be a moderator
I want to help make SwapitShop Lounge better and be a better part of the community.

Well, ive now left school and finished exams, so basicly 24/7 lol. but seriously, i do spend alot of time at the computer, and even when im not here i stay online

so people can normaly contact me whenever!

Why you think you would be a good moderator?

Because im used to forums as ive spent more than 2 years being a member of swapitshop forums.
Also i am a well known and trusted member that likes to socialise and gets behind the problems.

Have you had previous experience as a moderator?

Yes, but briefly, i know the basics of what buttons do what and so on..

Why do you want to be a moderator

I feel like seeing the forum from a different point of view and using my time/skills to better this forum

I think that the swapitshop section moderator applys to me best as i use swapitshop alot now, and have done fore more than 2 years. I am a gold star swapper with 100+ rating, and growing!
I spend most my time on this forum refreshing the swapitshop section over and over again so i can see any new threads/posts so i could be the 1st to post and get a good deal

I can be online moderating everyday from Monday-Friday 15:30-22:00 & Saturday & Sundays from 8am.

Why you think you would be a good moderator?
I think I would be a great moderator because I can be online when needed, I get along with members, I can keep up with the work and really help cut down on spam & work hard to sort out any issues the members have. I also never use text talk so all members can understand my posts.

Have you had previous experience as a moderator?
Unfortunately no, when I joined this was my first forum as I mainly chat using MSN or chat rooms.

Why do you want to be a moderator

One simple reason: I would like the chance to help the forum and all the members.

Whenever really after 5pm weekdays and nearly all day weekends same for holidays

Why you think you would be a good moderator?
Ive had experience with running forums. Im a polite, friendly, fun, helpfull member who will always think before i make decidions. I will keep an open mind on everything and i will never favour members. Most of the forum know me whether its from the last time i was on or now so i can asert my position in a friendly way. I am respectfull and in return i believe i am respected. I wont leave my duties withought warning and even then it will have a valid reason.

Have you had previous experience as a moderator?
Yeas i was the admin of a forum and i have been moderator on some forums. I was offered moderator status at Games Winners which is one of the biggest forums ive seen but i had so much coursework i declined and left the forum. That wont happen here as i have no outstanding coursework and next year is all tests really.

Why do you want to be a moderator
Im not going to say to help the forum because i try to do that anyway mod or not. i want to be a moderator because i will then have the power to do more and put time and effort towards the running of such a great forum. This has to be my favourite forum (ive been a part of many) so being a mod here would be truly fantastic!!

I can Moderate the forum for at least 2 to 3 hours a day.

Why you think you would be a good moderator?

I never swear, say rude things or lie. I understand everything about SwapitShop now and i use good english and write properly. I also have never been banned or sent a warning.

Yes i have, about 2 years ago on a clubpenguin forum

Why do you want to be a moderator?

I would love to be a mod since i would always love SwapitShop Lounge

Why you think you would be a good moderator? Because I spot quite a few rule breakers and also posts that need moving, also I not too strict and will try to be as fair as I can. I use proper english aswell.

Have you had previous experience as a moderator? Yes. These two:
www.rtan.myfreeforum.org I am admin but I also do moderation.

www.randomstuff.myfreeforum.org Only very small.

Why do you want to be a moderator? Because I find lots of spam and other things I could change if I was a moderator.
