Why do you want to be an admin?

I want to be an admin here because it's an 'once in a lifetime chance'. It's an world class forum and i'd like to have a more "involved" role in it.

How much time do you have free to run the forum?

I have quite a lot of time free, even though i'm a co-admin on TEF. As Ryan said, there's been a decrease in activity in the past week, meaning I have more time. I have around 9 hours free on a weekday and god-knows how long at the weekend. I will also have more time during the school year next year, as i'm going to be in hospital for an knee op, meaning I can bring my laptop in and be on here all day.

Do you have ideas to help take the forum forward?

I have a few ideas, but i'm going to keep them confidential as I don't think they should be shared with the whole community of this forum as then they'll all know what's going to happen if I become admin.

Why should we make you admin?

I have a lot of experience with PHPBB2 and PHPBB3, as i'm on three forums with PHPBB3.[OGF, TEF, Forum Adverts]. I know how to lock, split, move etc. [Geez, who doesn't?] I get along well with members on other forums, so why shouldn't that extend to this forum. I don't moan and i'm not very strict. But if something bad happens, it will most certainly be sorted. I also seem to be on when nobody else is on. I use proper English and I don't use slang. My grammer also seems to be good. [In my opinion.]

Can we trust you?

It's up to you if you want to trust me. I can't really change your mind on this. But for instance, I haven't had any warnings or bans on this forum; I have a lot of people on here who would and do trust me. I wouldn't do anything bad to this forum as i'm not that type of a guy. I just want to see the best of this forum and be a bigger part of this forum.

- If you were to pick me, I wouldn't let you down.
- If I was picked, I think more members would join as my amount of posts is low. I think this because it shows that they maybe picked if they post, post, post!

Why do you want to be an admin?- I would like to be an admin, for i think that i could make SwapitShop Lounge a better and happier place. I could sort out bullying, and any bad members. I am responsible, and i know that this would not only benefit me, but the forum too. I spend every day, and nearly every hour on this forum, as i enjoy it so much, and the members are so helpful and friendly, and i hope that everyone thinks the same about me back!

How much time do you have free to run the forum?Since i go to school, you may think i don't have much time, however, these are the times when i'm free: Mon-Fri 7:00am-8:00am, 3:30pm-9:00pm. Sat-Sun- 8:00am-9:30pm. I rarely go on holiday, so i am dedicated to being an admin.

Do you have ideas to help take the forum forward?
Well, i am not sure that you'll want this, however my aunty works for Swapitshop, and may be able to place an add on the Swapitshop website, free of charge to you

Why should we make you admin?
I am  extremley trustworthy, and i have great I.C.T skills, hence the A*'s from my teacher. I understand members very much, and i listen, instead of ignoring them. I am a nice person and love people.

Can we trust you?
Yes, definatley so. I am extremley trustworthy, and I know what it is like to be betrayed, or scammed, i would never, ever dream about doing this.

I'll start with sorry for everything lately - I've been a total idiot and I know I wont get this job because of that - but I'll try anyway.

Why do you want to be an admin?

I have been a member of SwapitShop Lounge for over a year and being an admin would make me feel far more pushed to come on the forum MUCH more. I would like to have the chance to show all the members that I can be a brialliant member and make the forum a much better place to be and visit. I love this forum and would like to give it something back. I'd love to see that Admin rank on all of my 6K posts and know that I can stop spammers and sort out any of the problems that occur on SwapitShop Lounge.

How much time do you have free to run the forum?

Quite a bit - on weekends I can spend a load of time on SwapitShop Lounge. From 10am to 8PM I could be on with a gap in between for lunch - that's enough time to sort out all that needs sorting out - surely? On school days - 4PM to 8PM. That's still a LOT of time and enough I'm sure!

Do you have ideas to help take the forum forward?

A lot. I wont say them now as other members will use them but I have ideas for promotion, earning cash, getting more posts etc. If you choose me you will hear them all!

Why should we make you admin?

I'm funny, young (not much school work so spend more time here) , happy, cheerful, kind, friendly and will ALWAYS help members if they need help. I have lots of experience in running forums, installing hacks etc. Also I spend half my life here and I think enough members can trust me. I've contributed a great deal to the forum - running betting, donating, posting etc. - and would like to have the chance to show what a great member I can be and contribute lots more! If SwapitShop Lounge needs a new admin - I'm the right one to choose.

Can we trust you?

Of course. I have spent 1/2 of my life here and 6K posts, earning thousands of tokens and donating cash. I don't see any reason why I would go and wreck a forum I spend 99% of my computer time on and that I like so much. I just wouldn't.

If you make me admin this forum will be EXTREMELY succsessful (more than  it is already) , I will donate lots more and I will have the chance to show you how I really can be. Choose me for admin and you WONT look back. I forgot to say btw - I can spell and type properly, sort out spam , lock ,split and move topics and ban members succesfully. Thanks.

I have TONS of experience of swapitshop, and  I want to share my wisdom of the site! Also,helping out and being friendly is my forte.

No, not really. the forum is pretty good, it just needs more updating i guess.

I'm smart, friendly, and just love this site. I flourish when it comes to making websites, the internet ect. I am great at working with other people!

Yes, I have experience of accounts being hacked. It's not pretty, believe in me.

I have probably one of the applicators with the most time, as, well i'm often free, as you may be able to see as i am on here alot.

I would like to be given the opportunity to become an administrator for this forum as it will allow me to carry on my current status as moderator but with a few extra responsibilities which I feel will help train me to become a better member and moderator for SwapitShop Lounge.

I also would dearly like the position as Admin as I have never been an administrator for a forum before and it would be a new experience for me, I know that I would be a capable administrator and would not abuse the authority.

At the moment I have approximately 2-3 hours every school day and around 7 hours in the weekends, depending on what I'm doing. But I can assure you that I would be spending a lot for time on the forum than I am at the moment.

I think that I could help bring the forum forward by sorting out forgotten forums and getting rid of junk in Chat, Report Central and other forums in SwapitShop Lounge's index which are hit heavily by spam and basic inappropriate or pointless topics or posts.

I'm sure I would be able to help bring the forum in more ways, just give me a little thinking time!

Well I have been very busy over the last month but now i can get on as much as I like as I got my self a new laptop and could get on 6-7 days a week.

Well we could look at getting some new things in the virtual shop and add some sub-forums in the codes section for  Swapitshop Quizzes

well i have had a lot of experience as i helped with major forums and I own a couple of forums and i always try to solve proplems like when someone Hacked into my forum and made it so I wasn't admin but i found out and fixed it

Why do you want to be an admin?
I want to be an admin, because I feel I can add strength to the current team. I think I will be able to help improve the forum, and contribute towards ideas and changes for the forum, which will hopefully make the forum better.

I have experience in using the Phpbb3 tools, and experience in swapitshop and general knowledge of how things should be run etc. I feel I would be a great contribution to the new mod/admin team.

How much time do you have free to run the forum?
I am on holiday from today (leaving in a few hours) until 17th August. I understand this means I cannot start the job right away, however I feel if you add up the pro's and con's, me starting a couple of weeks later will not be a problem.

After I get back from holiday, I will be able to put in a minimum amount of around 1 hour a day on average. This doesn't sound loads, but I am not going to over-estimate the amount of time I can give, only to dissapoint. I know some memebrs would be like 'yeah I can give 5 hours a day'.. Im not going to say this, because I know its not true. I say 1 hour a day as a minimum, because some days there will be more etc. I dont often go on holiday, so in the holidays (the busiest times on the forum), I am usually around for most of the day on most days, so can put in a lot more time then.

Do you have ideas to help take the forum forward?
Yes, I always have ideas coming up, and usually my ideas are used, as they are quite good ones. I will put forward ideas which I feel will help improve the forum, and help towards the success of the forum. At this current time, I am not going to list hundreds of ideas, because I like to think through my ideas, and make sure they're not going to cause problems as well. This is quite important before going ahead with an idea.

Why should we make you admin?
I think you should make me admin, because I have been on this forum for several years now, and I wreckon I would be a great contribution. I am always helpful and friendly, and always help out where possible. I currently own the swapitshoptips.com website, which is aimed at helping users when they are stuck on swapitshop. (It's not a forum). This shows my will to help other people.
I am also well-known by many members of this forum, so it would not be someone that lots of people didnt already know, or havn't already spoke to etc.
I am also on msn quite often, (most of the time actually lol), and speak to lots of members on there also.

Can we trust you?
Yes you can trust me. I was a moderator for around a year on this forum, however I stood-down from the position at around febuary because of my GCSE's. My GCSE's have now finished. Standing down from a moderator job shows I am not just in it for the title of being a moderator, (or admin in this case), and I am there to do the job properly. I am always hard-working and do things properly, and more-often than not, I dont give up!

I think the sections above have covered most things, however I would like to say, if I get chosen, I promise you will not be dissapointed. I will make sure I put in 100% effort.

As I say, I am going on holiday for 3 weeks, but when I get back, if I am choosen, I will be ready to start right away! It took me a while for me to decide if I wanted to apply to be an admin, as I had to think of whether I could really put in what is needed, and after about a week of thinking, I decided I would go for it. This shows that I do not just jump to decissions, and I think through everything before I do something, because I do not want to regret it later on.

I'd like to apologise in advance if I have made lots of spelling mistakes in this topic (lol), as you know, I usually can type properly, apart from early in the morning and late at night, lol! - I was also writing this kind of quickly as I need to get stuff ready to take away with me.

Why do you want to be an admin?
I have always wanted to be an Administrator on SwapitShop Lounge from the very start(ever since I joined) and had previous experience on running two very successful(though no way near as successful as SwapitShop Lounge)Forums of my own and at being a moderator on various other forums.

How much time do you have free to run the forum?
Pretty much all day every day in the holidays and normally, I can be on Monday to Thursday after school not on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays, As I do not have access to an Internet connection on the days stated above.

Do you have ideas to help take the forum forward?
Yes, and many ideas to help improve the forum in many ways, I would also keep the forum safe from malicious and vulgar posts and threads and generally keep the forum clean from spam, double posts and give justice and discipline where it needs to be served.

Why should we make you admin?
I am a hardworking, safe, honest member of SwapitShop Lounge(even though my post count is low)and will ensure SwapitShop Lounge is a safe, clean place to be for children and teens.
