SOME People like it, not EVERYONE like you hates it.
I personally like it, I think its better and its aiming more at teens now than younger kids. The other design looked a bit 'babyish' in a way.
The site seems to be all working fine now with most things working correctly! And its looking good!
The only thing id say I dont like with the new site is that the swap descriptions and titles can only be very short and I think it restricts users to describe the item in greater detail. But other than that I think the new design looks cool and I think its just as good as the new one.
The people in this thread who are saying ''I HATE IT I DONT LIKE IT'', this is because you are not prepared to give anything a try. You havn't said what you don't like about the site, you are just criticising it based on your first thoughts when the banners and everything was broken. Now its fixed, its very good.
You need to accept that it is the new site, and it isn't going to go back to the old layout however much you might want it to, even if you create a thousand petitions they wont change it back, they have been working on this design for some time now!
Anyway, I think Swapitshop have done a good job with it, there are a few minor things that could be improved which ive stated above about the description and title, but other than that, I think its great! 
So let me be the first to say, Thanks to Swapitshop for the new design  ! (I doubt anyone else has as all you lot have done is MOAN!)

I think once they sort out the Swap listings it'll be fine! At the moment they're all crammed together, and don't allow HTML... 
Other than that I've sort of got used to it
